Kudhima wreck

About the dive

The Kudhima Wreck is a purposefully sunk cargo ship, placed underwater to act as an artificial reef and dive attraction. It was sunk in 1998 near Machchafushi island resort in South Ari atoll. The ship is a steel cargo vessel, approx 50-52m / about 150ft. The wreck spans from about 12m at the top parts to about 30m at lower deck / bottom.

You can expect a good mix of both bigger reef fish, nurse sharks and macro life. How it's been colonized by coral, sponges and algae. Suitable for intermediate divers who have some experience with currents and wreck diving.
